The three preset buttons under the timer are gone. In their place is a ruler: a tape of minute marks that slides under a fixed needle, with a label every five minutes. Flick it on a phone or a trackpad, drag it with a mouse, tap a mark to jump straight to it, or use the arrow keys. The clock above follows along as the tape moves, and on Android phones you feel a small tick for every minute that passes. Any length from 5 to 90 minutes is one gesture away, and you can still tap the clock and type a number if you prefer.
On phones, weekly goals used to live on a second page you had to swipe sideways to find. They now sit under the timer, where you can see them. The heading sums up your week: how many goals you have and how far along you are on average. Collapse the card and that one line is all that stays. Each goal shows the emoji of its focus area, and tapping one opens the same edit dialog the focus area pages use. With no goals yet, the card is a single Set a weekly goal row.
On desktop, the right side of Home used to stack a separate card for every suggested person and every goal. Suggested people and weekly goals are now one card each. Click a heading to fold its card away, and Home remembers your choice. The rows are tighter too, so names are no longer cut off after a few letters.
The focus area picker above the timer is cleaner. The settings gear moved inside the field, next to the clear button, and the arrow steps aside once you have picked an area. The row of people focusing right now is labelled Live.
One fix rides along: hover a day on the heat calendar and a tooltip tells you the date and how long you focused.
