Finishing a session is a good moment to think about how it went, but a blank note box rarely helps. The share dialog now has an Ask me a question button that does the asking for you.
Tap it and a question drops in over the dialog, written for this session. It takes in the mood and focus area you picked, the book you are logging and the note you have written so far, so a session spent reading gets a different question from one spent fixing a bug. A tag on top says what kind of question it is, such as Progress, Learning, Pattern or Next time. Not the right one? Tap 🎲 for another. Before you start typing, a few suggested openings sit under the question; tap one to begin your answer with it, then write the rest and press Add to session.
Answers appear as cards above your note. Tap a card to change it, and press Ask me another for the next question. A session holds up to five answers. The button tells you how many questions are left. While new ones are still being written it says so and waits for them, and when a session has used them all up it reads No questions left.
When you share, your answers go with the post. Other people see them as a small pile of cards: the question is on top and the answer stays blurred until they tap it. Tap again to deal the next card. Your own posts start with the answers showing, since you already know them. On a grouped card that is folded away, a short line like 2 hidden answers hints at what is inside.
The button is a little bolder after sessions where a question is more likely to be welcome and softer after the rest. It always works either way.
Ask me a question is part of Roomie Supporter. Everyone sees the button; if you are not a supporter yet, it opens a short note with a link to the supporter benefits, and your unsaved session stays right where you left it.
